Focus on recruiting and future skills

The network meeting of the strong partners of the FHV (Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences) took place this year in the Energy Quarter Bregenz of illwerke vkw. There was an exciting insight into current recruiting strategies from Samuel Scheier, Head of Recruiting at the host company. Joachim Vedder, Head of the Department of Engineering and Technology at FHV, also spoke on the topic of "Future skills as a prerequisite for success". In a subsequent workshop, he and the new FHV College Director Regine Kadgien guided the participants through various questions on the pulse of the times. A concluding review of the impressive 100-year history of illwerke vkw was not to be missed. In addition to illwerke vkw and FHV employees, company representatives from Alpla, Blum, Hirschmann Automotive, thyssenkrupp, Liebherr, Hilti, Zumtobel Group, Bachmann, Doppelmayr and Meusburger were also present.
