Study Entrance Examination

The university entrance qualification examination does not take place at the FHV. Johannes Kepller University Linz offers courses to prepare for the Studienberechtigungsprüfung at the Center for Distance Learning in Bregenz.

The Studienberechtigungsprüfung is composed of five examination subjects:

• German (essay) on a general topic
• 2-3 compulsory subjects
• 1-2 elective subjects

The responsibility for the university entrance qualification examination lies with the universities (cf. § 64a UG). Each university decides autonomously (within the framework of the legal requirement) which examination subjects must be completed compulsorily for which study direction group)
