Professional practical training - your entry into the job!
In the 6th semester of your bachelor's degree in (starting at the beginning of January), you will apply the knowledge you have acquired in practical everyday work. For a defined period of time (at least 40 working days) you will work in a company. The teaching and the practical experience are directly linked: on Mondays you are at the FHV, the rest of the week in your company.
You will learn during this time:
- get to know the actual work of the engineering profession,
- to work on a complex task,
- to get acquainted with the applied working and production techniques of the industry,
- get to know the operational environment from an engineer's point of view.
These experiences will give you a deeper understanding of the interrelationships of the various operational areas of activity. You will learn to integrate yourself into a real work team and to cooperate with other departments across the board.
During the professional practical training, you will work on your bachelor's thesis. You will work on and document a problem according to scientific criteria.
