The bachelor's degree in Mechatronics at the FHV is a university program and is intended for applicants with a degree in...

  • ...higher secondary school (AHS, BHS), vocational baccalaureate, university entrance qualification examination: anyone who wants to start a technical career through the study program or
  • ...technical higher school (HTL): individual parts of the studies can be recognised or
  • ...subject-specific vocational training (apprenticeship, German FH-Reife): Entry into the study program is possible after completion of additional examinations directly at the FHV.

The additional exams for the bachelor's degree in Mechatronics at the FHV include the subjects German (essay), English 1, Physics 1 and Mathematics 3.

Knowledge of German and English at level B2 (Matura level) of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Languages) is a basic requirement for admission to the degree programme.

Recognition of previous academic achievements

Special regulations: As a Maturant a vocational higher school (HTL, HLW, HAK, etc.), individual courses can be credited to you individually during your studies. In individual cases, it is even possible to enter a higher semester. You will receive details about this in a conversation with the programme director.
