Dual = double good
The Electronics and Information Technology Dual degree program at the FHV lasts six semesters, including all practical phases in the company. In the first academic year, you will deal intensively with engineering fundamentals. Courses, exercises and labs provide variety and create a good basis for the start of the dual phase in the 3rd semester
In a partner company you expand your knowledge in a professional environment. Study and company practice phases alternate. You study and work on your professional career already during your studies.
You are financially secure and insured with a monthly salary. For the study phases at the FHV you will be released by your employer. Due to the blocked phases, there is no double burden - you can always fully concentrate on the respective phase.

Curriculum
Elective specialisation (17 ECTS): you choose your elective specialisation from the following areas in the 3rd semester and thus determine the subjects of the 4th and 5th semesters.

Computer Science
Automation
Individual competences (flex subjects): at least 12 ETCS are acquired in the form of individual electives (e.g. electives, micro-credentials in an international context, further specialisation options, etc.), whereby it is not specified in which semester how many ETCS are to be completed.
ECTS: Credit points based on the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Consistent with international standarts, 30 ECTS points ca be earned each semester.
