Digital services for nursing and supervisor at home
24.06.2024On June 26, experts will provide insights into digital support services for family caregivers.
What contribution can digital support make to the supervision and care of people with dementia living at home? The TeleCareHub research project is addressing this question. Telecare offers the opportunity to use services regardless of location and, in some cases, regardless of time. "The offer is primarily aimed at caregivers and relatives who we would like to support in the care and supervision of people with dementia living at home," explains project manager Katrin Paldán. The TeleCareHub consortium from Vorarlberg, Tyrol, Carinthia and Salzburg will present the latest research results at the uDay on June 26.
View of a relative
This year's conference program sheds light on the topic of dementia from different perspectives. After getting into the mood with the musical theater of "Die Schurken", Johanna Constantini - daughter of former soccer coach Didi Constantini - will speak from the perspective of a dementia patient's relative. This will be followed by another exciting keynote speech by Michaela Defrancesco from the Medical University of Innsbruck. She will present factors influencing the patient journey for people with dementia after diagnosis. This will be followed by a presentation of research findings from care research and selected digital services and solutions with potential for the care and supervision of people with dementia living at home. Finally, Martin Hebenstreit from connexia will moderate a panel discussion on the topic of "Digital before outpatient before inpatient".
Admission to the event at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences is free. However, registration is requested by e-mail: veranstaltungen@fhv.at
