What to expect?
Based on the international Earth Day, the Alliance of Sustainable Universities organizes the annual joint "Sustainability Day". On the occasion of this special day, the member universities of the alliance present a varied program that is open to the public. As part of this, the FHV offers a lecture with discussion as well as presentations of relevant research and student projects.

About the speaker: Christof Drexel is a trained Mechanical Engineer and works in research and strategic consulting in the field of Energy and climate policy, as well as decarbonization of industry. He worked for 30 years as a developer and university management of an SME in the field of energy-efficient building technology. In 2016, he wrote the book "Zwei Grad. One ton. How we can achieve the climate target and change the world." This was followed in 2019 by the guidebook "Why guinea pigs save the climate". He is still involved in numerous research projects and supports local authorities and companies in the creation and implementation of Energy and climate strategies. He is also chairman of the KlimaVOR! Association for the Promotion of Climate Neutrality in Vorarlberg.
In addition to the event on site at the FHV, there is also the opportunity to follow some additional program items online. More information will follow in March.

The FHV is committed to a sustainable event culture. This event will be carried out according to the criteria of "ghörig feschta", paying attention to appropriate measures and practices. Threfore we recommend traveling by public transport, the FHV is easily accessible:
