Hebertinger becomes Vice Head of College at the FHV

The Programme Director of the bachelor's degree in International Business Administration replaces Karl-Heinz Weidmann, who has been Vice Head of the College at the FHV for many years: Martin Hebertinger has been working at the FHV since 2017; the Munich native began as a lecturer in Accounting and Finance. The 53-year-old has been the Programme Director for eight years. 

FHV Rector Regine Kadgien is looking forward to the collaboration: "Martin Hebertinger brings a lot of experience and expertise to the table. He has been a member of the FHV faculty for almost six years and knows not only the Department of Business and Management, but the entire FHV. He also has a strong network in the local economy sector and has numerous international contacts with partner universities." She also thanked the outgoing Vice Head of College: "Karl-Heinz Weidmann has achieved a great deal over the past few years with former Rector Tanja Eiselen and has helped to develop the university into a forward-looking institution. Many thanks for this." 

Maintaining a successful course

Hebertinger is looking forward to his new role, which he will take on in addition to his role as Programme Director. "In addition to deputizing, I see myself as a Project Manager who relieves Rector Regine Kadgien. I also take responsibility for university-wide initiatives and development processes. Together with the Rector and university management, we are maintaining the successful course that the FHV has been on for 30 years: We develop tailor-made study programmes for our local job market. We offer application-oriented research for companies and society here in the region. As part of the European University RUN-EU, we create the best opportunities for students and employees." 

Personal details:
Prof. (FH) Dr. Martin Hebertinger is a qualified banker and business economist. Born in Munich, he studied and completed his doctorate at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. The 53-year-old can look back on a career at a major European bank and a global management consultancy. Before taking over as Programme Director for the Bachelor of International Business Administration, he was a lecturer in Accounting and Finance. Hebertinger is married, has three children and has now found a second home in Vorarlberg.
