08.04.2024
Student Ambassador Michi Giesinger explains in an interview why he decided to study for a Master's degree in Business Administration.

Student Ambassador Michi Giesinger is completing a part-time Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in International Marketing & Sales. The special international and intercultural focus of the course appealed to him. Another big plus point for him is the practice-oriented training, which will open many doors for him later on;

Why did you decide to start the Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Marketing & Sales?

My decision to do a master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Marketing & Sales at the FHV is based on my interest in developing strategic and conceptual skills in an international environment, and I find it particularly exciting to deal with different cultures. The degree programme offers me optimal opportunities to deepen my skills in global marketing and sales.

What role does the international focus of your degree course play for you?

In a globally networked world, I believe that an international understanding of marketing and sales is essential in order to be successful in later professional life. The course is my key to international perspectives and opens up exciting career paths.

How do you see your career prospects after graduation?

After graduating, I see a wide range of career prospects, especially in international companies. There are very different fields of activity in which graduates can work, such as strategic marketing, sales or business development.

What tips would you give to other students who are interested in your field of study?

I would advise prospective students to take every opportunity to gain practical experience and intercultural experience, as these are essential in international Business Administration. In my opinion, studying is very different from going to school. At school, I often had to learn things that didn't interest me, but during my studies I can concentrate on the subjects that really fascinate me.
