3 questions - 3 answers
Why do you work in applied research?
Because the transfer of scientific findings into practice and of real problem areas into science is important, but not self-running. I want to contribute to the successful transfer as an independent, methodologically sound guide, so that research and practice inspire each other.
What topics and skills do you cover and what is your aim in doing so?
In my research, I deal with the development, implementation and evaluation of technologies to make health opportunities and resources more likely for people in different life situations (e.g. young people, people in need of care, carers, employees).
Why is research the right field for you?
Research is teamwork and thrives on exchange and discourse. Openness to new things, courage, methodological diligence, the ability to contribute your own ideas and (self-) reflection characterize the research work and the collegial exchange and I appreciate that very much.
