IaaS 4 DR

The IaaS4DR project aims to revolutionize innovation support and technology transfer in the Danube region, targeting in particular industrial rural and remote areas with low innovation capacities. The main objective of the project is to provide local, permanently improved and integrated innovation support services. This will be achieved by improving the capabilities of business support organizations, innovation intermediaries and technology transfer institutions.

The most important goals include: 

- Capacity building: increasing innovation support expertise in the regions

- Collaboration models: improving integration between regional innovation service providers.

- Transnational expertise: Facilitating access to and use of external advanced innovation support services on demand.
 

The project aims to transform traditional, linear and top-down approaches into dynamic, integrated services. These go well beyond existing options by leveraging limited local resources with broader transnational support. This strategic shift is expected to foster a more competitive and smarter Danube Region that is well equipped to meet the future challenges of industrial transformation and innovation.
