JIDEP - Joint Industrial Data Exchange Pipeline
Economies around the world generally follow a linear production model. This leads to massive material losses, dependence on geopolitically unstable states or competitors, and volatile primary resources. To address these challenges and untangle the complex industrial relationships, the JIDEP project (long title: "Joint Industrial Data Exchange Pipeline") is being implemented. The JIDEP project helps companies unlock the value of data, leading to the development of more sustainable innovations, technologies and materials. JIDEP is also an optimization continuum that covers the entire product life cycle and steers it towards the implementation of circular standards at the technological and regulatory levels. FHV - Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences is the lead partner of the JIDEP project. The project is funded by Horizon Europe and connects 13 partners from EU and non-EU countries - both from academia and industry. Within the project, scientists from FHV - Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences are investigating and researching the field of IT ontologies and resilience engineering as well as innovative business models for organizational and economic sustainability.
