SMARTER
Experiential Learning tools to obtain SMART supply chain competences
Project Objective
The SMARTER project enables the FHV - Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences and the project consortium to combine science and industrial practice with experience and experiential learning. The project enables the project partners to capture supply chain management relevant information to improve its pedagogy and/or practice in terms of industry-university collaboration. The knowledge exchange between University - Industry/Business - Students will serve as a central hub for conversation and constructive dialogue to promote a "new approach to education" in the project focus area of Supply Chain Management and Transport Logistics. The FHV - Vorarlberg Univeristy of Applied Science has the lead in the SMARTER project over work package 6: Information and Communication Technologies in Supply Chain and Transport Logistics.
SMARTER is based on three pillars:
- Research on digital transformation in regional companies;
- the development of experiential learning materials for the process and structures within supply chain management and
- the implementation of a student competition to test the learning environment.
Output
- Conceptual design and development of digital content, technologies and processes
- Creating new, innovative, or collaborative curricula or courses
- International cooperation between educational institutions and companies
