BlackVibDesign - Low vibration design through acoustic black hole
In this project, noise and vibration isolation by acoustic black holes will be systematically investigated to achieve thin-walled isolation in the low and mid audible range. In particular, the shape and distribution of the density distribution of the acoustic black holes as well as the design of the carrier structure will be analyzed theoretically as well as experimentally. In the medium term, this should enable space-saving metallic acoustic isolation in private and industrial environments.
