A21 Talent Day at the FHV

The A21 Talent Day at the FHV is an interactive format for talents with the aim of building a bridge between young people on the one hand and Business and Management on the other. Based on concrete challenges from companies and institutions, high school students develop ideas and concrete solutions for a specific topic. This year's dialog and innovation event at the FHV - Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences focused on the topic of AI & Sustainability. Almost 150 students from BORG Lauterach, HAK Feldkirch, PHTL Lienz and HAK Lienz took part in person and online.

Actively designing the future

The A21 Talent Day was organized by the microtechnology research centre at the FHV. The event is made possible by the federally funded FFG project MINKT&FHV. MINKT stands for Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Creativity and Technology. "The A21 Talent Day shows that young talents with fresh ideas and creative thinking can actively shape the future and create new opportunities. Thanks to our corporate partners from Vorarlberg and East Tyrol and the cities of Dornbirn and Lienz, we have a successful mix of tasks in the fields of sustainability and artificial intelligence," summarized Fadi Dohnal, Head of the Microtechnology Research Centre. 

Talent Award

All solutions developed by the groups for the respective tasks will be entered into the Talent Award competition. The winning team will be selected by a jury. The winning team will receive an award of 1000 euros in June 2025.

MINKT@FHV

The MINKT@FHV project combines scientific expertise in Engineering and Technology and Design at the FHV with educational experience at selected schools and industrial expertise in the field of sustainability. Annual cross-state A21 Talent Days enable cross-school work.
