Discover the World

The "Discover the World" information event took place at the FHV as part of ErasmusDays 2024. It offered first-semester students on all bachelor's and master's degree programmes a comprehensive overview of the many opportunities abroad during their studies. Around 100 students found out about the numerous opportunities online and on site.  

Short and long-term mobilities

The International Office, the RUN-EU team and the RUN-EU Student Council provided exciting insights and gave the students valuable tips. Students who had already gained experience abroad gave an authentic impression of the opportunities offered by a stay abroad. The presentations covered topics such as Erasmus+, RUN-EU and various mobility activities, including the options for short-term mobilities, which are possible for stays of as little as one week, and long-term mobilities, including semesters abroad and work placements, of up to twelve months. After the official presentations, participants had the opportunity to talk to each other and the speakers in an informal setting over drinks and snacks. Many of them took the opportunity to clarify questions and discuss their own plans. Overall, the students' curiosity and enthusiasm for international experiences was clear and those responsible at the FHV are looking forward to many future experiences abroad for the students.
