FHV Erasmusdays activities

The Erasmusdays initiative at Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV) this year was a great success. We hosted a series of engaging and enriching activities, bringing together students, staff, and the community to celebrate the values of international exchange and cooperation.

Pub Quiz Extravaganza

On October 12, 2023, the FHV community gathered at Spielboden in Dornbirn for an intellectual showdown. The Pub Quiz event, a highlight of the Erasmusdays celebration, welcomed 11 spirited teams and approximately 60 participants. The event featured diverse categories, including General Knowledge, Erasmus+, Music, Country Quiz, and a Picture Round. The evening was expertly guided by Quizmaster Robert from the International Office, who ensured both the energy and intellect of the teams remained at their peak.

Sponsored by Spielboden Kantine, the quiz offered an enticing array of prizes. The winners claimed coveted Spielboden Concert Tickets, with second-place teams receiving Spielboden Cinema tickets. Third-place enjoyed a drinks round, and even the last-place team didn't leave empty-handed, receiving a humorous set of wooden spoons.

Empowering Information Session

Complementing the quiz was an information session catered to FHV first year students interested in international exchange opportunities. Held on 10 October 2023, this event served as an invaluable resource for students seeking to embark on their own international academic journeys. Attendees had the opportunity to gain insight into the program's benefits, application process, and listen to the exciting stories our testimonial students shared with them.

The FHV Erasmusdays activities served as a testament to the university's commitment to fostering international collaboration and mobility.
