Strong in research!
The FHV is one of the most research oriented universities of applied sciences in Austria. Studies and research are closely linked. The courses of the bachelor's degree programme Social Work have a very close thematic relation to the Research Group Empirical Social Sciences at the FHV.
In the research groups Empirical Social Sciences, projects from the social, socio-economic and Business and Management fields are implemented. Using methods of quantitative and qualitative empirical social and impact research, social processes and structures are investigated, analyzed and developed. The focus is on "human resources, soft skills and social capital", "health", "performance evaluation", and "market and customer research".
