The term culture will be discussed and elaborated as well as what the "Austrian Culture" might be - from the perspective of international students as well as of Austrians.
The historical context and development will also be explored and students will gain insights into major differences between Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In addition, typical situations of everyday life will be analysed and compared to students own cultural background (e.g. family life, work life, studies, urban life, etc.)
A strong focus will also be placed on the value system (both Austrian values as well as EU values) and students will have the opportunity to explore how this has an impact on individual priorities and decisions.
