And on a personal level, it is a very appreciative recognition of my person," emphasized Eiselen. The Montafon native will retire on December 1. She will be succeeded as FHV Rector and Head of the College by Prof. (FH) Dipl.-Ing. Dr. techn. Regine Kadgien.

"Today we are honoring people who have supported our university both academically and socio-politically in making our values visible and bringing our research findings to society. I am very pleased about this day of celebration and would like to thank all those honored for their commitment and congratulate them warmly," emphasized Veronika Sexl, Rector of the University of Innsbruck, in her words of welcome at the ceremony, which was attended by numerous guests from politics, business and management and science.

Partnership merits

In this role, she has made and continues to make a significant contribution to strengthening cooperation between the University of Innsbruck and the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences, for example by supporting the Western Teacher Training Network, but also by promoting scientific cooperation. She was awarded honorary citizenship of the University of Innsbruck for her services to this partnership.
