Admission requirements
Specific admission requirements to the degree programme
The Business Administration master's degree programs at the FHV require the following qualifications or aptitudes:
- Completion of a bachelor's or diploma degree in business administration or
- Completion of an equivalent bachelor or diploma program with at least 30 ECTS
(credit points according to the "European Credit Transfer System") of Business Administration contents.
The course of study must have been completed to the extent of at least six semesters and 180 ECTS at a recognised domestic or foreign post-secondary educational institution, for which admission requires the general university entrance qualification, and which is recognised as a post-secondary educational institution on the basis of the legal provisions of the state in which it has its registered office.
The programme director decides on a case-by-case basis whether the admission requirements of equivalent bachelor or diploma degrees or, if applicable, required additional achievements are fulfilled.Proof of German and English language at level B2 of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Languages).
The Business Administration Master's programs are designed as part-time studies. Professional activity, especially in a relevant professional field, is not a mandatory requirement, but is an advantage for the application process.
Recognition of previous academic achievement
Special Regulations: Verified course work completed in master degree programmes at colleges and universities may be credited on an individual basis for individual courses or modules. This decision is at the discretion of the programme director.
