Film and theme evening as part of “60 years of the recruitment agreement”

What can you expect?

Many first-generation Turkish immigrants are now elderly and in need of care. However, there is a lack of caregivers and facilities in Vorarlberg that are familiar with their eating habits, religion and language.

The film “Arta kalan zaman” (The remaining time) by Bayram Özer addresses this issue. Afterwards, family caregivers and representatives from politics, administration and care facilities will discuss the topic.

An event on the occasion of “60 Years of the Recruitment Agreement between Austria and Turkey” in cooperation with the FH Vorarlberg (Social Work & Care), the vorarlberg museum, the City of Dornbirn (Office for Living Together in Diversity) and the Dornbirn City Museum.
