Speakers:

  • Fredrik Debong is co-founder of the Pioneers Festival and the successful HealthTech startup mySugr, which was acquired by Roche in 2017 and is still one of the largest exits in Austrian startup history. Today, Fredrik is active in a variety of roles - as founder, investor and advisor - for various start-up projects. His extensive involvement has had a lasting impact on the European start-up scene.
  • Lisa-Marie Fassl is an important personality in the Austrian start-up scene. She was Managing Director of the Austrian Angel Investors Association for several years and advised the Federal Ministry for Digitalization on startup issues. She also founded Female Founders, one of the largest European networks for the promotion of female founders. Today, she is Managing Partner at Fund F, a fund that specializes in investments in gender-diverse teams and thus promotes diversity in the startup world. And yes, last but not least, Lisa-Marie teaches a course on "Early Stage Financing" at the FHV.
  • Alexander Stoeckel has almost two decades of experience in venture investment. He was a partner at b2venture and Director of Investments at PM Equity Partners. In these roles, he has supported numerous start-ups and built up extensive expertise as a venture capitalist. His many years of experience make him one of the most experienced contacts in the field of venture capital.
  • Soren Charareh is Investment Manager at Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws), one of Austria's central funding institutions. Subsidies play a decisive role in the financing of companies, especially in the field of innovation. The aws supports Austrian companies with around 1 billion euros annually and thus promotes the development of future-oriented technologies and innovations in Austrian Business and Management.
  • Johannes Moser is a formative personality in the Vorarlberg digital scene. He co-founded the Digital Initiatives and was Head of Product at Crate.io, one of the most exciting tech companies in Vorarlberg, for several years. With the founding and sale of immerok, he achieved one of the most significant exits in the history of the Vorarlberg start-up scene.
  • Isabella Salzmann & Lukas Böhler are the founders of Gleap, an all-in-one customer feedback tool for apps and websites. Gleap is one of Vorarlberg's most promising start-ups and Isabella & Lukas are two of the most exciting personalities on the Vorarlberg start-up scene.
  • Sascha Österle is a partner at F-Technologies, a Vorarlberg venture capitalist that invests in startups at an early stage. Sascha supports innovative founders in the technology sector with capital and strategic know-how.
  • Fabian Rauch, born and raised in Innsbruck, discovered his passion for programming at the age of 16 when he created his first websites. This early experience awakened his entrepreneurial spirit. Over the years, Fabian has founded several companies, including an innovative cab app, a successful online carpet retailer, a dynamic advertising agency and finally the software company Crqlar.
  • Dr. Mai Anh Dao: After a short, intense university career, Mai Anh founded MADiscover 4 years ago. With an innovative combination of big data analytics and AI, her company is changing the way companies find strategic partnerships and acquisitions worldwide. As CEO, she leads the software company and inspires customers from Siemens to Doppelmayr.
