What can you expect?

To mark World Social Work Day, the FHV and the Austrian Professional Association of Social Work (obds) are organizing an impulse lecture with Florian Straus followed by socializing.

Lecture "Confidence as a decisive resource for a successful life - Perspectives for Social Work"
by Dr. Florian Straus

Our world is complex and full of challenges. What is the basis for human confidence to be able to successfully master new, unexpected and difficult events time and again? With the concept of empowerment, a theoretical and empirical foundation for confidence as a central part of psychological resilience is presented.

Dr. Florian Straus is Head of the Institute for Practice Research and Project Consulting in Munich and a long-standing lecturer in the Master's degree in Social Work at the FHV.

All interested parties are invited to take part in the event. In addition to alumni and students of Social Work, social workers, employees of Vorarlberg social institutions and advisory board members are also very welcome.

 

Participation

Participation in the event is free of charge. Registration is not necessary.
