Data Sharing Framework for SMEs

Simple solutions for data-based collaboration: The Data Sharing Framework for SMEs project aims to complete the portfolio of requirements for cross-border and cross-company data-based collaborations. The Data Sharing Framework will include SME-ready, concrete and scalable tools (e.g., model contracts/data governance, data assessment models, IT security concepts, checklists) that SMEs can use to overcome non-technical barriers to data sharing and to identify and leverage value-creating factors of cross-border data sharing.

EBusCharge - Flexible E-Bus Fleet Charge Management Flexible charging load management of e-bus fleets. Verkehrsverbund Vorarlberg GmbH sees the future of its bus fleet in battery electric buses (BEB) and is expanding to 60 buses by 2025 and a total of 100 buses in less than 10 years. The EBusCharge project at the Energy Research Center is accompanying this ambitious infrastructure project, developing and researching technical solutions for charging management of growing e-bus fleets.

Bilateraler Austausch bei den Verkehrsbetrieben Zürich Im Rahmen des Interreg ABH Projekts FreeE-Bus und des FFG-Projekts EBusCharge besuchten am 03. Juli 2024 zwölf Projektmitglieder aus Österreich und Deutschland das Betriebsgelände des assoziierten Partners Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich (VBZ) in der Schweiz.

MEEDGARD The Research Center for Microtechnology has been working with leading scientists in the field of quantum optics for many years. The focus here is on the generation of entangled photon pairs using quantum dots, which are also known as artificial atoms due to their properties. The piezo micro-actuators realised at the FHV using ultrashort pulse lasers are one of the central building blocks for implementing these special light sources. The MEEGARD project, funded as part of the EU's quantERA initiative, will further intensify this valuable collaboration.
