Vorarlberg Youth University: Research during the vacations

Learn programming, explore the human heartbeat, give free rein to artistic experimentation and much more. At the full and half-day workshops from March 25-27, you can immerse yourself in campus life and get to know the lecture halls, engineering and technology labs and design labs at Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences. Perfect for anyone aged 13 to 16. After the Easter vacations, the Youth University also offers a program for the summer and autumn vacations. 

Metaverse meets care 

What does nursing have to do with metaverse and augmented reality (AR)? Health, design and Computer Science work closely together, also for new ways in nursing education. The Jugenuni students can try out for themselves how this works. With the help of a virtual heart, they can see and hear the human heartbeat, among other things. But you can also immerse yourself in the practical side of the nursing profession together with Rebecca Lirussi on March 25;

From paper to pixels 

Of course, the technology labs will also be opening their doors. For example, when a model train is made from steel and bronze. In visual sketching and coding, works of art created with the hands are transformed into interactive, digital images. The workshop on life path design with Marilena Tumler is also about visualization. The workshop is an invitation to discover your own dreams and talents using a wide variety of design forms and to gather ideas for your own professional future;
